First Tee Links of Maine Announces Start of 2017 Season

The First Tee Links of Maine has announced the start of its second season of the program for children, ages 6-14, on the Midcoast.

Rockland Golf Club’s longtime PGA pro, Keenan Flanagan, and Jim Povec, the program director, brought the First Tee program to Rockland GC last year, according to a story in the Village Soup.

“We learned a lot in our inaugural 2016 year, which now puts us in an even stronger position to serve kids,” Flanagan said in the website story at the Knox Village Soup.

The cost of the program for students is $60 for the six-week program.

The 2017 Session 1 Schedule:

  • Saturday, May 20 – 3 to 4:30 PM at Samoset Resort.
  • Saturday, June 3 – 3 to 4:30  PM at Samoset Resort.
  • Saturday, June 10 – 3 to 4:30  PM at Rockland Golf Club.
  • Saturday, June 17 – 3 to 4:30  PM at Rockland Golf Club.
  • Saturday, June 24 – 3 to 4:30  PM at Rockland Golf Club.
  • Wednesday, July 5 – 3 to 4:30 PM at Rockland Golf Club.
